The Mountaintop - Flagler College (SM)

The Mountaintop is a two-person drama about the last day of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The entire play is set in the Lorraine hotel room, the evening before his assassination. King is alone, trying to create yet another powerful speech. When he orders a cup of coffee from room service, a mysterious woman arrives, bringing much more than a late-night beverage. What follows is a reflective, often funny, often touching conversation in which Dr. King examines his achievements, his failures, and his unfinished dreams.

Mass Appeal - Flagler Playhouse (SM | Light Board Op | Sound Board Op)

In this funny and thoughtful comedy/drama, a newly ordained deacon is assigned to a veteran pastor for mentorship. Soon after meeting, the idealistic younger man and more seasoned priest find themselves knee-deep in the generation gap that exists in both their beliefs and practice.

The Imaginary Invalid - Flagler College (SM | Props Master | Sound Designer)

A self-absorbed hypochondriac of the highest order, Argan keeps two devious and cunning physicians busy to his fiscal dismay. But Argan is no fool despite his frailty and devises a plan to get all the medical advice (as well as the attention) he needs at no cost — by marrying his daughter to a doctor. Horrified, the entire household goes into overdrive, with outrageous plots and disguises, to prevent this disastrous marriage to a dolt and to facilitate true love. Filled with nosey servants, greedy wives, and star-crossed lovers, this is Molière at the top of his form: a sparkling, exhilarating, incisive romp that will leave you in stitches.

The Revolutionists - Flagler College (ASM)

Playwright Olympe De Gouge, assassin Charlotte Corday, former queen (and fan of ribbons) Marie Antoinette, and Haitian rebel Marianne Angelle hang out, murder Marat, loose their heads and try to beat back the extremist insanity in the Paris of 1793. What was a hopeful revolution for the people is now sinking into hyper violent hypocritical male rhetoric.

The Late Henry Moss - Shepard's Fest (ASM)

Two antagonistic brothers, Ray and Earl, are brought together after their father, Henry Moss, is found dead in his seedy New Mexico home. Henry was a harassing, arrogant drunk, and his sons have inherited his worst qualities. Ray is determined to uncover the mysterious circumstances of Henry's death. In three acts, the story of the father's last days unfolds in flashbacks.

The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey - Flagler Playhouse (SM | Light Board Op | Sound Board Op)

Leonard Pelkey is a fourteen-year-old intent on living life out loud while marooned in a sleepy Jersey shore town. When Leonard suddenly vanishes, a hardboiled detective takes the case, unraveling the mystery with the help of a colorful band of locals.

Talking With - Flagler Playhouse (SM | Light Board Op | Sound Board Op)

Clara - Flagler College (SM)

The title character from “Clara” has just been brutally killed and we witness Detective Lew Fine questioning Clara’s father, Kroll, to try and find out who might have have committed the murder. This questioning, however, tells us far more about the father (and the detective) than the daughter.

The Lady from the Sea - Flagler College (SM)

Ellida, the lighthouse keeper's daughter in the small town of Skjoldviken, meets an American sailor with whom she shares her first romantic experience. When this stranger is accused of murder, he must flee, but makes a pact with Ellida to come back and whisk her away. He is gone for years, and during that time, she finds herself married to Wangel, the local doctor. The two girls from his first marriage never take kindly to Ellida, and in a haze of post-partum depression, she begins to long, once again, for her youth.
